I have been breeding canaries since 2001. I started with the Fife canary but soon fell in love with the song of the Belgian Waterslauger after attending a MD bird show. My concentration in canaries is the bird that has been bred for song, the Waterslager. I am a member of Maryland All Canary Club - MACC.. I learned a lot from the club members and from showing and attending shows in the early 2000's. I currently classify myself as a Hobby Breeder, who has continued to breed canaries with beautiful songs. Mainly the Waterslager and American Singer. This year I have started a breeding program for a song canary called - Johnny Appleseed... The 2015 season looks to be a good season with all 10 of my hens nesting.
